Bob Richardson wrote in one of his books that the 375 derailment on the high line was kind of a "last straw." Reportedly, she was not very flexible, and could derail easily... and nobody wanted a repeat on the high line.
The RGS did not rent either for similar reasons, although there may have been a time or two, who knows. At this point, the D@RGW was scrapping anything small, not easily repaired, or not needed. I think 360 and 462 were also cut up about the same time. 315 was retired about this time as well (1950?) and found its way to the Durango park.
It wasn't a bright, sunshiney time to be a narrow gauge fan...
