I'm sorry, I don't do "easy," nor do I read extremely visible items such as "Attach a file"; therefore, when I get around to posting the file, it will probably be invisible.
Yesterday started off around 0430 with the first of two lengthy technical support phone calls, which did not at all help my functioning for the day, such as paying attention to what was quite obvious. The first call was about the Linksys on-line software for my router, which stopped functioning properly in Firefox; thanks to a patient and knowledgeable agent, I was later able to find the problem, which is quite weird. By the time I got to this forum, I was rather off kilter.
Starting with the Windows 10 Fall Creators update, when I open the Linksys software in Firefox, and click on most of the modules, they open partially and the indication to wait just goes around and around. It turned out that the Firefox extension for Free Download Manager, which monitors Firefox and handles file downloads, is somehow interfering with the Linksys software, which does not download anything; it took me quite a while to figure this out. I've filed a support ticket but have little hope that there will be a quick (if any) resolution to this odd behavior. Meanwhile, I have to remember to disable the extension to use it, but as I don't often need to use the Linksys software, it is not a major problem for me.
(I wonder why I never get email notifications from this forum, along with all the other things I wonder about, such as why was there a Big Bang (that it occurred, I accept, I just wonder what was there before the event.)
