Thanks, youse guys But don't thank me, thank Tom Gildersleeve -
For more of Tom's fabulous fotos check out
'Narrow Gauge . . . then and now', which he co-authored with Nils Huxtable about a quarter century ago, and which also includes several of JBWX shots from the early sixties and one (1, count it, 1) of mine from 1972. All of the above photos are from a DVD of his photos that Tom presented at WinterRail a few years ago; he has given me permission to share the presentation, and I'm looking forward to doing so in Antonito or Chama next summer – IF a Fiftieth Anniversary commemoration of the last D&RGW freights over Cumbres Pass in late August, 1968 can be arranged for late August, 2018
