Yes, Bill will be missed. I was his regular fireman in the early years of the D&S and I learned a lot from him. He was always good natured and watched out for me when he saw that I was having trouble firing the locomotive. Bill ran the engine for the fireman and took care not to work him to hard. He came from a great D&RGW family, and I will keep them all in my prayers.
