What do you expect Michael---this location is the easiest for chasers to access in this whole region. I shot here in 2014 because the train eastbound had stopped at Sublette, and I went for one more after it took water. It was the best shot I ever got here. Why you ask----the engine was working, and all the other shots I have seen westbound the engine seems to be drifting, which might explain your smoke problem. I would think there would be other better places than stopping right next to the road where others can get in there with vehicles! I do like the little s-curve you guys did, that I think Mr West made famous in around 1996 or so!!!
