Derrell:
I just want to uncover the facts. That is what makes studying history so interesting, the interpretations of those facts depending on your point of view can widely differ. I had forgotten about the C&S/ Miller draft letter of agreement that Bill White has posted on his RGS page, which lists all the car numbers, and the terms and conditions of the transfer to Victor Miller, which was to be dated May _ _ 1938.
I understand where you are coming from in regards to your interest in the C&S and mine is in the RGS. If we can work together then the information that we uncover will aid both our RR's understandings of the role that Mr. Miller played in the histories of the C&S and RGS. Besides, I still need some of your C&S On3 hardware to build some Phase I C&S/RGS stock cars, so cooperation is priority No.1 for my crews. LOL
Did you know that Victor Miller had a lifelong interest in the Civil War? He accumulated an extensive collection of Civil War related books, letters and related items that he donated to the University of Denver. Like I said, there is more to his story that needs to be uncovered.
Drop me a note back channel and perhaps we can connect up in Denver at the convention and compare notes.
