I believe three or four ex-C&S box cars still exist in some form on the White Pass.
Two were converted C&S box cars by the Army. They are 909 caboose/flanger and 911. One of the two I believe has been returned to operation and the other is on display in Skagway.
I believe the body of White Pass #730 is still a storage shed in Skagway but am not sure.
708 is still around as a work car. Do not know if it is operating.
742 was painted green and used as a baggage car.
The rest were cut down for use as container flats and scrapped when the White Pass upgraded its container system (I think they were all scrapped).
Hope this helps. Cannot give you the pre White Pass numbers of these cars. Perhaps you should try the White Pass group.
