The other tender that went to the WP&Y was the tender from #18. #18's and #50 both had Bettendorf trucks where as #16 and #17 though essentially identical to #18 had arch bars on the tenders. #17 remained in service converted to oil after #19 and #20 with tenders from #18 and #50 went up N. I'll take a guess that the tenders with Bettendorf trucks were chosen as being a small step toward a better deal for the WP&Y and SVRy was no worse off for it.
