I may not remember correctly, but I remember in 1985 we were there in October and saw a doubleheader. Then Gen Manager Dan Ranger was driving along with the train and he mentioned this was the longest train of the year. I thought it was 28-29. If anyone has a discontinued video we did that year called "Full Throttle To Cumbres" you will have the answer. It comes with a shot list and info sheet, but there is no narration. Ah, the early days!!! I remember one location which got enveloped in fog and the sound was great but you couldn't see much more than the headlight. That was the only year I really got to experience fall colors.
