That is a pretty cheap shot at the Strasburg RR. It is its own thing. It doesn't try to replicate anything. It is its own prototype. As the oldest railroad on the American continent running on its original charter (dating from 1832), it has the right to do as it pleases. It has owned 2-10-0 #90 longer than its previous owner did by a long shot (about 40 years for the Great Western vs. 53 for the 'Burg). I runs the only operational 4-8-0 in the country - which has recently been re-lettered "Norfolk And Western". It is still a common carrier freight road (I just spent the whole day switching freight cars). As a nod to history, the locomotives are lettered for the Strasburg RR, but in the style of of their previous owner.
The passenger equipment is gorgeous. In many, many cases the original woodwork is still inside the cars. Where it has been replaced, one has to look very carefully to find the differences.
To say "Disneyland", is to imply reproductions that have little base on actual historical items. Strasburg is the real thing. It's only 5 miles long, but it is the real thing.
