Considering that this locomotive was rebuilt by Wasatch Rail Contractors, which has a long history of well-done contracted locomotive restorations and rebuilds, I think the money and time were most likely spent wisely. This wasn't some podunk patch job by old retired men who like to dink around with pipe wrenches and ball peen hammers.
