The spring frogs arrived in the late 1940s or early 1950s. Probably the same time the split-point switches replaced the stub switches. Anyone know when this was?

One interesting thing is that on the SP there were no southbound or northbound trains. If a train was going toward San Francisco it was a westbound train; going away from San Francisco it was a eastbound train. Mina (and later Laws) to Keeler was eastbound.
