Hi folks,
Thanks for the thoughts. I was discharged from the hospital today Sunday July 2.
Basically I have been in the hospital for about 3-3.5 weeks and bed ridden for some few weeks before. One lung was filled with fluid and infection and the other was about 50% that way. I had about 3.5 liters of excess fluid in my chest cavity. It was discovered that I have cerosis (sp?) of the liver without having a number of the usual indicators pointing to it.
Compared to the lungs, there were a few other lesser items that flared up like my type 2 diabetes.
My sister and brother-in-law are up to Atlanta for the long weekend and helping me get resettled but they have to get back to Orlando and are staying until the Fourth.
It looks like there's a lot of homework for me to catch up with on NGDF board posts.
Take care and thanks.
