Fantastic John. By the time I got to Argentina, steam was down to just the 30" gauge Esquel and Rio Turbio lines and an occasional cross border shunt on the standard gauge between Argentina and Paraguay. I did get to see the 2-10-2's in action though when 10 of them found a second life working on the Donna Teresa in Brazil. The scenery there wasn't even remotely like that of the C-14. The Salta line looks like a railway on mars!
