On that Memorial Day weekend 1977 regular service steam had been dead for nearly two decades in most places. Yet you were just starting a steam railroad career. And here you are forty years later still working on steam. 2027? Who knows, if the body holds up it would not surprise me to see you still doing it, although perhaps as a volunteer (ya gotta watch those RRR rules about post retirement earnings). Hard for me to visualize you being happy on the porch. Somebody will lure you into doing something.
