About the Narrow Gauge Discussion Forum

If you have recently joined the Narrow Gauge Discussion Forum, there are a few things you might be interested in. First, the rules, such as they are: this board is provided free to everyone with the only request that people remain civil. That means no name calling, and no abusive language. If you disagree with someone, that's fine. You can express your opposing viewpoint without calling them an idiot or whatever. Similarly, if you don't like the job someone is doing, you can say so - but demanding anything (tar, feathers, or a quick trip to the unemployment office) is not appropriate.

I fully understand that things will occasionally get out of control but the only way to prevent it is to fully moderate the board requiring each post be approved before being posted and no one wants that.

So please, if you feel you're getting pissed off, write what you want, then take a few breaths, maybe walk away from the computer for a few minutes and edit out those parts that are inappropriate before you post.
