I was hoping U.P. would trade the 2-10-2 in Cheyenne for the Big Boy.   Oh, well.

I'm guessing there's hardly a wye anywhere in the U.S. that could handle a 4-12-2; the 4014's 4-10-0 tender will be enough of a challenge!!  Most likely U.P. will choose routes for the Big Boy that avoid the necessity of turning her him.*
