Ah-Yup. Almost -
Per page 21 of George Niederauer's exhaustive treatise on D&RGW locomotive #315, the F&CC actually placed three separate orders of two engines each with the Baldwin Locomotive Works – two for delivery in November of 1894, two more for delivery in July of 1895, and two for delivery in November of 1895. The three pairs of engines were identical except for minor details (see tables 37 & 42, on pages 397 & 407, respectively, in
'Locomotive 315 - The Lives, Times and Rebirth of an 1895 Steam Engine' by George F. Niederauer, DRHS, 2010). The third of these six F&CC engines - #3, the Elkton - eventually became D&RGW #315.*
