We had the Morgan bunch working out of Alamosa. In Salida we had the Wilsons. Christopher Rice Wilson, William Wilson and Charles Wilson worked the narrow gauge out of Salida. I don't know if they were brothers, cousins or not related. Charles Wilson was the senior engineer on the narrow gauge out of Salida when the lines were pulled, retiring off the standard gauge in 1960. he probably had some trips up the stub line to Hooper out of Alamosa, where he probably met the Morgans.
Railroading was a family affair.
