Eventually the teeth in the cogs will mesh.
Years ago at a week-end model railway get-together I attended, met one of the noted railway photographers of our country. On chatting with the man found out we went to the same high school, many years apart though, and the following Monday I'm firing a southbound and spot the same guy on the bluff south of my home town shooting us departing: years later that picture graced the cover of the NZRLS publication. Another trip even later in the 80's I'm firing the Northerner Passenger through Paekakariki (opening sequences of John Wayne's "Sands of Iwo Jima"), the local Steam Inc. there were firing up a steamer, being a Saturday morning there's railfans and cranks everywhere, among them I recognised a Mate, giving him a wave. That has just showed up on youtube recently.

A great way to revive the old memories.
