The ET&WNC gave up two of their ten-wheelers, 10 and 14, for the WP&Y. Both served at least a year in their green-gold paint with the previous road names painted over, then were shipped to the NP yard at South Tacoma for a complete rebuild which included moving the cabs back a bit...
Sadly, both burned in a enginehouse fire at Whitehorse and along with several other locos used on the WP&Y, were scrapped at the NP yard at Auburn WA after the war.
