Tanks, tanks a lot. Remember that about the time that side rod rollers were becoming in vogue we were in a war and
priority one was defense applications. And yes a yard engine or local power wouldn't benefit from rod rollers but Santa Fe
was running their Northerns on passenger trains from LA to La Junta without an engine changeout.
