Thanks Jason, thats exactly what we wanted to know. In the past we have used cranes at each end, and we get a discounted rate from a hauler, using his 40,000 lb roll on. Even at that we're looking at a 1K for moving expense each.

These two have an access issue also. Right now it takes 4WD just to get to them. And even when dried out the road access will limit what we can get into them to haul with. Really don't want to also pay for a grader to work the access road @ $95 hr. The land owner would think that was a great idea.

I haven't personally inspected the cars yet. Owner says that there is no trucks, or couplers, or brake gear under them. This is quite typical of most of the abandoned 3000 series cars that were left behind in Farmington when they pulled the track. They are inside a barn structure since 1980. They are setting on a cinder block foundation all around both car bottoms.

Maybe a start of yet a new adventure.
