Hi, again -
#483 -
with the 'wandering' plow - was the road engine from Durango to Alamosa for the Kolor Karavan in late September, 1962.
Per my photos of run-bys on the new bridge at the Navajo Reservoir, #484 was wearing a plow (a different one) in September, 1964.*
By the time of the last freights over Cumbres (August, 1968), neither #483 nor #484 was wearing a plow, but #483 again had a plow
by the time of the NPS special in late November that year.

* The ends of the pilot beam appear to extend beyond the front of the plow worn by #483 during 1962 and early 1963 in all of my own photos as well as in several taken by Tom Gildersleeve at around the same time. The pilot beam of #484 does NOT appear to extend beyond the front of the plow in this photo taken in October, 1964
