Past Cresco, before the tank got rebuilt....and the trees grew up.
Around Coxo Curve Shop Foreman Doug Stamps takes in the show, not that HE would have anything to do with such foolishness...
There was still the small remains of a snowdrift on Windy Point which 487 stomped right through....
We arrived at Cumbres, watered 488 and cut off 487 so it could wye and head back to Chama. 488 pulled the train up over the crossing where we tied it down for the night. 488 then came back across the road and was tied down for the night. 488 is at rest while 487 get water before heading down the hill.
While I played watchman for the rest of the day, 487 made its way back to Chama. Dave caught her leaning on the drifting throttle passing Cresco Tank
Tomorrow's another day!
