A few projects on the WW&F in 2016 -
* 21 Campaign - A fund started this year to build new boilers for 0-4-4 #10 and the planned 2-4-4 #11. The halfway mark has been reached so the boiler plate has been purchased and is being cut and rolled.
* Turntable - Completion of the 1894 design Portland Company queen truss turntable at Sheepscot.
* National Narrow Gauge Convention - Hosting hundreds of visitors from the U.S. and other countries for the 2016 NNGC.
* Top of the Mountain - Tree clearing and track construction at the location known as Top of the Mountain. Trackwork includes mainline extension and building a new spur to the planned sawmill site.
* Rebuilding of B&SR boxcar #67.
* Riveter - Restoration and use of the 1880 era Allen Riveting machine.
* Flanging machine - Construction of a new flanging machine to build parts for the new locomotive boilers.
* Woods track - Construction and use of the new woods track that connects the north yard with the equipment loading area. B&SR coach 11 was just delivered on this track two weeks ago.
* Car barn - Painting of the car storage building at Sheepscot into WW&F shop colors.
* Flanger - Construction of a D&RG style air actuated flanger blade on engine #52's snowplow.
