I'm trying to help a friend identify the location of this photograph taken of his great-grandfather. All I know is that it's somewhere in the south Pacific during WWII. I was suspecting it was one of the Hawaiian-Phillippine 0-6-2s, but the smokebox door doesn't seem to be close and it has the odd handrail above the headlight. Any thoughts?
