Hey Earl, thanks for all the great stories and photos of the early days. I LOVE looking at your photos and hearing what went on then.

Isn't the 053 the rotary cook car? If so I have a feeling it's going back to work as one of the jobs assigned to my crew in G this fall was to replace the entire brake line upgrading from 3/4" to 1 1/4" brake pipe. Marvin wanted larger pipe so they could recharge the brake lines on a train faster and we finished that car just as the sun was going down on Friday. One more item out of the way to make a rotary run. When it happens, are ya coming out?
