Hi,

My SWAG (Scientific Wild Axx Guess) is that the owner feels comfortable with painting wood - just like a house. Replacing wood sheathing is just like a house also.

Not many homeowners have the needed skills or knowledge to take care of rust and painting steel.

Could be 100% off target also.
