Mr Alexander's drawings are quite nice, but don't judge them on historic accuracy. The BB&K never had 2-8-0's. The B&O/ Pittsburgh & Western did have two Grant 2-8-0's, but its doubtful they ever saw the BB&K rails.
Some of these scetches were done for an old narrow gauge round-robin newsletter. A number of early narrow gaugers would take turns writing material, and sending copies to those who subscribed. Mr Alexander did drawings to include in his submissions. His modeling work was from all over, including D&RG and C&S, along with eastern prototypes.
