I was just trying to avoid being accused of favoritism, Ed -
I first heard 'L&N' when Peter sang it at a local hangout several years before I met you here on the NGDF. And, just like with you, I had to twist Peter's arm to get him to learn 'Fast Freight'; now it's a regular part of his repertoire. It's obvious that I have impeccable taste when it comes to railroad songs - and singers thereof - even if I can't sing too well myself.

p.s. IMHO, "City of New Orleans" also ranks way up there - top five, for sure - along with "Wreck of the Old 97" (and our rendition of "Festus").
