I have a new favorite brew, Ed -
GRAMP
S Chromo Crude TRIPLE Chocolate Stout (with Capsaicin) - see [
ngdiscussion.net]. Carefully guarded by Bosco the Banter Bulldog, a trial batch brewed several months ago has now bottle-aged to near perfection. The rich chocolate and roasted malt flavor hides the jalapeño enhancement for several seconds before the intense burning sensation - reminiscent of Vera's "mild" chili at Kelly's Café - takes over
. . .
And, since
'Wreck of the Old 97' has been mentioned above, I'll take this opportunity to inform those who have joined us here on the NGDF within the last five years or so that Jason Rose' superb video of our interpretation of
'The Ballad of Festus Frothjaw' (aka
'The Foamite Song' - based on that classic song also used by The Kingston Trio for their YUGE hit
'Charlie and the M.T.A.' - is available for their listening pleasure at the bottom of the post at [
ngdiscussion.net].
