Why are people so drawn by that trade? Sure, having a k28 on the C&TS would be fun FOR RAILFANS. But paying customers don't really care.

Besides, The rejection of that trade was never stated as a rejection of the idea. It was rejected because the deal didn't help the C&TS. That engine would have been no use to C&TS by the time the season started.

So give it time, and hopefully someone will come up with a deal that will be accepted.
