I guess it's a nice place but the designers used their imagination to do things. The locomotive was built by a place that makes sculptors. They claim it is a replica 1900's locomotive that represents the mining era in the area. I read that the unit was a bit pricy, but the UDOT could not find a "steam locomotive" to place there. So they had one built.
Nobody but us sees it as a bit unusual. The general public sees a perfect train and that’s what matters.
