Chris: Exactly the photos I was referring to. There are a couple of issues in play here. I have no idea what kind of ore was being shipped. Seems that the loading is done the hard way, wheelbarrow and shovel with a pile over each truck. Now what kind of ore/material was that representing? The cars have re-roof dates of 1924, and the paint/herald from 1926. Any idea of he vintage of the truck? (I spent my days learning about F's, E's GP's, U-boats(GE), Alco's etc. Cars were what they hauled and I drove) The whole issue here is do I re-open the Montrose sampler or leave it closed? If the ore goes to Leadville or way east, I need to add that to my E/B train. Ahhhhh the joys of trying to do things right.
