Zach, Oh to live only 6 hours away from Chama, sigh, been there twice from Australia, one hell of a bank breaking trip stuck in a cigar tube, but hope to go again, and again. Not having a go at you, I have a broad gauge (5'3") steam railway ( [
www.steamrangerheritagerailway.org] ) only an hour away and haven't been there. My big love is narrow gauge, I was a volunteer at Pichi Richi Railway ( [
www.pichirichirailway.org.au] ) that is only 3.5 hours away, till I got married, then wifee put her foot down, then wifee is now ex wifee but I still haven't been back thru various reasons.
But man, if you can, you have gotta go, if those magic Xlotto numbers ever came up I would live there at the drop of the hat.
But back to JW's excellent photos, how did all the people get up to Cascade trestle for that runby, I presume in the gons? that would have been a "if I only do something once, this is it" trip.
