Jim,
I haven't been to Duncan and the BC Forestry Museum, so I can't speak from personal observation. My information comes from the notes on pp. 344 - 346 of A Century Plus Ten.
On p. 344, the note for car 12889 indicates it was given its original number in 1927; re-numbered to 88109 in 1947; re-numbered to 11021 in 1956; retirement date unknown; delivered to WP&Y in December, 1962; became WP&Y 56, retired and sold to BC Forestry Museum in 1979. Mike Peltier's list, on p. 345, says that WP&Y 56 was sent to the BC Forestry Museum in Duncan, and notes that, "frame only survives." Presumably the tank was used for other purposes, and the frame is still at the museum.
On p. 344, the note for car 13175 indicates it was given its original number in 1927; re-numbered to 88127 in 1947, re-numbered to 11029 in 1956; retirement date unknown; delivered to WP&Y in December, 1962; became WP&Y 55, retired and sold to BC Forestry Museum in 1979. Mike Peltier's list, on p. 345, says that WP&Y 55 was off the roster in January, 1978, went to the B.C. Forestry Museum in Duncan, and "frame only survives."
Hope this helps.
