The Climax cistern was also attached by draw bar to the front engine frame, and the rear (third) truck freely turns on its own bolster. When adjusting the cistern side bearing blocks on the Climax 1551, we turned the Cistern about 35° to clear bearing blocks so that we could machine both a bit more to get the correct clearance (we had them too high originally). We did have to remove some braces which which attached the bolster to the draw bar pocket and coupler pocket as they fouled the truck when we tried to turn the Cistern that far (to clear side bearing pockets).
