The C&TS simply would not be here today if not for the two dozen or so hard-core volunteers who rebuilt the railroad and rescued the rolling stock during May through October, 1970!

IIRC Jeff Stebbins has been an engineer for many years, Ed Stabler will be providing entertainment during the Rendezvous in August, and Ernie Robart is around for a week or two nearly every year. Is anyone else from that first year still actively involved with the railroad?
