While I am aware that there are always added costs, the comment did say a 1472, not a 1472 and additional costs. Also note that there was very little volunteer labor on the Glenbrook. Volunteer labor came in at about 18% of hours needed. The project was four and one half years with a staff of 3. Total billable time against the Glenbrook was approximately $542,000. I still stand on my premise that a 1472 isn't the horror story we might think it is. A sidebar to this is that if the 1472 wasn't due the other repairs would still be necessary. Just because we wait until the 1472 to make major repairs doesn't make them part of a 1472. They are just the cost of running steam.
