Hi Rich, thanks for the update. Planning on going there end of July. Was wondering what direction you came in? I take it you came over Hancock pass?
Is the road from Pitkin closed? I was hoping around the Sherrod loop is where it would be blocked. Can you tell me how many miles from where you parked to where you walked? I don't hike much at high altitude so just wondering now that I can't drive up there how long I should plan to get to the tunnel.
