I hadn't met Phil when I started up there in Silver Plume. We met in 1980 on the Great Western Railway during Beet Campaign.

I am glad to hear that the Westside Trucks were saved and not scrapped.

The leaf springs ought to make it ride very well.

When we got it from the Camino, Cable & Northern the trucks had coil springs.

Did Phil tell you that when they were rebuilding the Tahoe car up there that I walked in the shop and saw that somebody had chalked the name "Tahoe" that I had put on there in the 1970's? I offered to just re-letter it for them and save them the work of "documenting" it.
