The plume car has it's west side trucks now. Modified with leaf springs. The trucks were cut down to be narrower to accomidate standard D&RGW axles and wheel sets. I had to change an axle out on it here about a year ago. Not sure when the modification was made to the trucks. But that's what is under it now.

I've heard the same story about the shelled wheels from Phil Johnson. It's a very nice riding car now.
