Actually, the grade is pretty easy to follow. We have also rebuilt the Guston depot over the last couple of years, and laid 30 feet of track in front of it. The hike is led a couple of more times during the summer, contact the Ridgway Railroad Museum website - it's maintained by Don Paulson who leads the hikes. He can tell you in great detail about the hikes and the route. Good map in the Rainbow Route if you have a copy, or know someone who has one. We have good used copies of the book available at the Ridgway museum for around $90 plus shipping.
