Progress is being made on my E&P/EN book. I had a setback last fall when the publisher I had been working with withdrew from book publishing. Since then I have laid the book out in Indesign and may self-publish. I think the book will be worth the wait. The finished book is over 400 pages. It contains more than 400 photos and over 40 maps and track diagrams, most are new for the book. There are eight chapters on the line’s history plus chapters covering the fixed plant and operations. There is also an appendix that details all of the equipment (the E&P and EN had a lot of stuff for an 84 mile short line). If I publish it myself it will not be a big print run, 500 or 600 copies. I should be making an announcement later this year.
