The Deadwood-Central City Flyer at Chicago Railfair 1949:
Chief Crazy Horse No 9 built in 1883.
Buffalo Bill Express Mail Car C&S 13 built 1880.
Deadwood Dick Coach C&S 76 Built in 1892.
"6 Open air summer excursion cars are patterned after the cars which once operated through
the Rocky mountains:"
Sitting Bull Calamity Jane
Poker Alice Wild Bill Hickok
Annie Oakley Red Tomahawk
Leadville Office Car C&S 911 Built in 1872.
The rest of the brochure is a publicity spot about the fair. And tells you such delights that the original Black Hills Central was not as long as the Burlington or the C&S but now that it has been converted to standard gauge it is just as wide!
The passenger is warned about train robberies; seems that they had a hold up every time the train loopes its way around the fairgrounds!
