No pictures, but the D&RG 1907 "Standard Posts" drawing shows the station post, tunnel and curve post, and the highway post to be a 3 x 10 plank 10 feet long painted white with black lettering. The bottom four feet of the post is dipped in hot coal tar and the post is planted three feet in the ground, leaving one foot of the coal tar exposed. The top of the post has beveled edges. The top of the lettering is located 5 inches below the top of the post, and the lettering itself is 8 inches tall.
