Less snow than last year, probably about like 2014. Snow levels at Cumbres are around 60" down from 84" at the beginning of February. Three weeks of 50 degree weather can do that! Last year snow depth at Cumbres was in the mid 70 inch range. Snow Depth at Cumbres in 2014 was in the mid 60 inch range. Any snow should have a crust on it from the daily melt followed by the night time freeze. I would skip the snow shoes, at least in the morning when the crust is still hard.

The forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday is ~1" of snow on Tuesday and a trace of rain on Wednesday, which will be snow in the high country. The rest of the week is sunny (mostly).
