Not to take anything away from Georgiana's incredible accomplishment in making Roaring Camp what it is today, but wasn't Norm Clark one of the reasons that Travel Town in Los Angeles has so much equipment. I have heard that Norm got ahold of Charlie Atkins (head of Los Angeles parks and recreation dept) stationary and took it on himself to contact railroads asking for donations for Travel Town without asking Charlie for permission. The story goes that Charlie would get a phone call from a railroad saying that the engine or railcar they requested is sitting at the rail yard waiting to get picked up. After Charlie got a few more calls, he told Norm "NO MORE LETTERS!"
