Its interesting because over the years, the platform got higher and higher, as you can look in the hole on the main line, you can see the different layers of platforms. On top is the modern asphalt layer, under is the Grande's concrete platform, and under that are small remnants of the original wooden platform. Many a things have been found down there. We even dug towards the depot and uncovered some of the original foundation for the depot, still intact and doing it's job after many, many years! I'll post some pictures of the platform layers later today.
